    Images Cinema Film Screening: Columbus (2017)

     February 23

    In conjunction with Turner and Constable: The Inhabited Landscape, Images Cinema and the Clark Art Institute present The View from Here, a film series exploring three different approaches to the role of landscapes in cinema: as subject, as inspiration, and as a means to explore character and emotion.

    Columbus (2017) Deftly intertwining a story of complicated family histories with an exploration of the emotional impact of physical spaces, this acclaimed feature film debut from video essayist Kogonada follows the son of a renowned architecture scholar, played by John Cho, as he explores Columbus, Indiana-home to several renowned modernist buildings-with a young architecture enthusiast.

    Run time: 1 hour, 44 minutes

    Tickets for each film can be purchased at the Images Box Office, located at 50 Spring Street, Williamstown. Tickets are $8 general adult matinee admission, $5 Clark and Images members.

    Save the date, Saturday March 2 at 6:00 p.m. at the Mount Anthony Country Club. Plan to join us! Donate an item, service, or gift certificate to our live or silent auction. Advertise in the auction booklet. $50 business card ad, $100 half page, $200 full page. Sponsor the event at the Platinum Signature Sponsor (new!), Gold, Silver or Bronze levels. Buy a table of 8 for $225 (individual tickets are $30).

    Day Under the Dome 2019

     March 12th

    Day-Under-Dome-graphic-2019Join the Chamber on our annual trip to the Vermont State House! Leaving the State Welcome Center at 6am on the Green Mountain Lines with "Joe Bus," we will be in Montpelier by 9am to meet with our representatives, the Governor, Lt. Governor, committees and enjoy the historic State building. The cost is $35 a ticket. You may purchase lunch in the cafeteria at the State building. The bus will be returning by 7pm.

    Veterans Outreach & Family Resource Center Dinner Fundraiser

     March 30th

    Please share in your circles and invite your friends and family. Come out and support your local Veterans Outreach & Family Resource Center Saturday March 30th at this Old Fashion Potluck Dinner & Dance with music by DJ Chris Wilder of Wilder Soundz DJ Services. The Hall at 63 Gore Road in Bennington Vermont 05201 was donated by The Bennington Rural Fire Department Company #3. There will be a door prize, prize raffles and a cash 50/50. Dinner is main course, dessert and drinks. Admission is $8 per person eat in or take out with 100% of the proceeds going straight to The Veterans Outreach & Family Resource Center.
